    Legal? Yes.

    On the roster? No.

9mm or .40 will just start a caliber war. People like what they like. I would say that it depends on your intended purpose. If you are going to be mostly target shooting, I would personally (and I did) go for the 9mm because it's significantly less expensive. If you want it for self defense / home defense, I believe .40 S&W to be a superior round for that. That said, I also use 9mm for that purpose because it's what I have and ammo cost was more important to me at this time. Also, some people are more recoil sensitive than others and do not shoot .40 well due to how [generally] snappy the recoil is. So... a lot is personal and totally subjective and unique to you. If you shoot 9mm more accurately than .40 for any reason, it is probably a better choice for all purposes, and vice-versa.

^^^^ oh, and capacity is a concern for people also and can help a decision between calibers. In CA we're limited to 10 rounds and the P-07 will do that in either caliber so it's a non-issue for your decision. In fact, there are NO 10-round mags for this gun (they all hold quite a bit more than that) so you would have to permanently modify the mags the gun comes with to reduce the capacity. You could take possession of the gun with the magazines dissassembled. Assembling them in full capacity form would be illegal, so to use the gun you'll have to modify them.

Its a great pistol for the money (esp if you live in free america), When I was at J&G a couple of months ago I got to play around with a 9mm one & really liked the overall feel of it. Not sure if SSE one would be worth it but who knows?

I am not a single issue gun voter, if someone wanted to attack any portion of the Bill of Rights, I would be voting against them. Unfortunately the only RIGHT that seems to be under attack is the 2nd!

They are dirt cheap out here. Had a few recalls that from what Ive been reading, arent fixed 100% still.

They have really nice ergos, nicer trigger then the non-omega CZs, but the mags are stupid expensive and not compatible with other CZ mags, and have lower capacity ( doesnt matter for CA, unless you have some old 17-19 round CZ mags )

Id pick one up in a heartbeat if it used the same CZ mags I already have.
