I swore up and down I would never get rid of my Glock 34 in OD green. So last month I bought a Kimber 1911 raptor 2. Im now ruined!! I dont ever want to shoot the Glock any longer. I pick it up after shooting the Kimber and its all bad! Man this one is going to cost me,lol.

I have one and I do admit that the single action trigger is a thing of beauty. They are different animals in most respects. Glad you found a gun you like

A guy I worked with at LBC always said: "Real guns are made out of carbon steel and walnut. Everything else is merely a toy."

I would love to have that 1911 of yours. I wish they still made em.

Yeah I was lucky I had a friend who worked at Turner's and let me know the day one came in for consignment. Needless to say I put a down payment that day. And I see them pop up from time to time in the fore sale section. I find a mil-spec works for me. I don't feel I NEED any of the other options some of the higher end 1911's have.

Still when I get the cash I wouldn't mind a nice loaded model or TRP (or other higher end 1911).

i just looked at OD Glocks on Gunbroker; gosh... prices keep going up. i've got an OD G19, but haven't kept up on pricing. yes... the OD G34 does carry a hefty price tag.

                      congratulations on your Kimber.

Thats why I grabbed your OD 35 so fast and no plans to sell it. You can own both, I have four 1911s and four Glocks (two OD). By the way just ordered a set of Dawson fiber optic charger sights for the 35. But I will admit the 1911s are carried far more often then the Glocks.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.
