    1911 compensator....Punisher style..where can I find one?

I would like to find a compensator like the one in the movie punisher, just for laughs. Where can I find one? I have looked around and all I find is ones for airsoft..

Not exactly the same, but you get the idea.

Please keep in mind that many compensators work so well that they will not allow the gun to cycle if the ammo is loaded to factory or weak specs. Typically open 1911/2011 guns run extremely light recoil springs because of this, too (helps to allow the gun to cycle).

Either way you need to find one from a company that specializes in competition guns.

Threaded barrels on semi-auto pistols with drop mags are illegal in California, so you might want to look into bushing compensators like the Wilson Combat.

On a 1911 compensators can be permanently attached and still have the barrel/comp removeable from the slide due to their design. If you silver-solderred the comp to the barrel it would no longer have "the capacity to accept" imho.

              ^^This.

1911 barrels do not install or remove like a Glock.

              Have the comp permanently fixed.

the wilson combat comp looks similar to that, except it has a few extra ports and it wont match the slide/frame

Yeah, I understand they pull out the front. Seems like a lot of extra expense to have all sorts of smithing done to weld/solder/permanently pin a compensator onto your barrel or an extended barrel that you now have to purchase in addition to the compensator. What's wrong w/ the bushing version that you can pop on at home and have the ability to take on and off if you choose, without having to own a second barrel?

The main reason I posted what I did was because you posted a link to a compensator that specifically said "for std threaded barrel." Probably prudent to mention that you cannot purchase that and a threaded barrel without commiting a felony in Kali (unless you never install the threaded barrel in your gun before having the comp permanently attached, if that makes sense for you)
