    Baby Eagle II

Anyone know if the Baby Eagle II will make the list?
DON'T give the ANTIs ideas. Debate the faults of anti-gun legislation AFTER it passes. Debating beforehand affects NOTHING, but it gives them technical advantages during the drafting and amending.

Does it mean it was submitted for the testing? Do you have any information on the subject?

The essence of Western civilization is the Magna Carta, not the Magna Mac. The fact that non-Westerners may bite into the later has no implications for their accepting the former.

EDIT 2020: To be fair that seems to apply to many Westerners also.

Unless it has a magazine disconnect and loaded chamber indicator - it won't make the roster. Are these features going to be added by IWI? I don't see any indications they will.

It will never be on the roster. Magnum research only has 1 gun on the roster, so for these one to make it, don't think so. But you can look into single actions to make it California legal.

As a baby eagle owner, I can tell you that the design will not easily accept the magazine disconnect. This design also doesn't have the LCI. These guns were on the roster by expired in 2006? I think. The only way to get them is to have Valkyrie single shot them, or if you have a generous parent out of state like I do, have them transfer you one as an interfamily gift. To be honest, the baby eagle full size is the best shooting .40 S&W pistol I have ever shot.

My compact 9mm baby eagle is one my favorite 9's. My only complaint is that there is not much room to grab the slide.

Why not go the CZ compact / EAA route? Baby eagle/Jericho design is based off them, just with a really funky roll mark.

                    EAA is off-list also.
As far as why not CZ - 'cause I want .45. And CZ97B is HUGE thing. Very accurate though.
Eagles (as well as EAA) are a bit smaller. It should fairly easy to get EAA in, after all they do have 6" aftermarket barrels right on the web-site. But EAA also has questionable reputation for quality and customer support. I may end up rolling dice on it, though....

EAA from what Ive been hearing the last few years has been getting better. A LOT more support for them though as far as aftermarket also.

Didnt realize you were looking for .45. the 97 is huge, heavy, and awesome : ) If it wasnt for the relatively low capacity for a modern .45, Id trade my XD in for it.

I think you mean single shot configuration.

I had one of the old Baby Eagles in .45. The older models were CA legal. Wish I had never sold it. Super accurate, smooth and light trigger pull and the heavy wieght absorbed all the recoil.
