I'm a big 1911 guy working hard in the gym to become a moderately sized 1911 guy, and I am interested as well!
I voted against Obama before it was cool.

The full length dust cover rail makes a world of difference in the "when I run out of bullets I'm going to beat you to death with the pistol" look that causes bad guys to run in fear, and lesser men to feel inadequate. It looks just plain beastly and the extra heft up front does help manage recoil a bit better. Plus, an angel told me that when God called JMB to heaven it was to build him a full rail 1911!

If these come out as true 80% 2011 frames with full interchangeability with production parts, then I'm in for a couple or more.

One request I have, please make the 1911 frames with a .25" radius, so installation of a beavertail is much easier. Can't wait to see the slides you have.

          Thanks.

Im interested in a 1911 frame/build party as well. I am still very new to handguns and gunsmithing in general, do you think I might be in over my head? Im always eager to learn I just might need someone willing to teach, or at least bounce ideas off of.
