I just bought one a few months ago and am satisfied that I got good value for my $.
Mine is the .22LR/.22 mag. with a 6.5" Barrel and adjustable fiber optic sights.
The Ruger Single Six I sold 25 years ago was a better gun. It also costs more than twice as much.
The RR is not a target pistol, it is a plinker. For a plinker, it does just fine.
The other thing to know about this gun is that it has an actual safety lever on the left side of the frame, rear of the cylinder. Before this, I was not aware of any Single action Revolver that had any kind of a safety lever on it. I had too see it too believe it. The safety works, it just seems odd.
FTR, I have not yet fired .22 mag through it. I may never. I have plenty of other guns to shoot if I want to spend that much on ammo.
Finally, the 'RIMFIRE' section of CG has several threads on the Heritage RR. Several CGers have asked similar questions.
Good luck.Last edited by RedFord150; 09-30-2011, 11:11 AM.
