    XDm Trigger Improvement

First off, I am a huge fan of Colt and Springfield 1911's - have several including a TRP. I also love the Glock's I have used at work for the past, oh, since they came out I think....Simple, good trigger and reliable - a good utility gun.

Well, I had the opportunity to pick up an XDm 9 not too long ago and after about 400 rnds, I had buyers remorse! Quickly figured out it was the trigger - long pull, poor reset. It shot nothing like the 1911's or Glocks I had. It was more like the DA on the Beretta 92fs I have (and wont shoot anymore).

SO, a little research and off to Springer Precision it went. Just got it back and it feels like a new pistol!!! Going to AZ to shoot this weekend so the range report will have to wait.

My roommate did the same with his XDMs, I won't even bother shooting my XDMs without a Springer Precision kit, it shoots like a dream.

I went with a PRP kit and installed it myself. Its an amazing difference.

The PRP trigger is awesome. Haven't tried a Springer yet.

What makes it so different? I know the reset isn't the best, but how does sending it to springer change this? How many lbs does it pull at now?
