Old sig mag question

Got a old mag for a sig from a buddy, made in Germany, but it doesn't say what model or cal. It's for, so how do I find out?

Single stack? Double stack? Post a pic? There are a lot of ppl here that can probably ID it for you.

if it goes to 15 than its for the 226 if its not for a 226 its probably not as old as you think it is

Probably a p226 magazine. OR it might just be a cheap magazine, I have quite a few cheap magazines that "look old" but were made right before 1994 and up to 2000.

If it has a smooth back it isn't old, if it is the zipper back or the dovetail back that would make it an original Sig as opposed to the newer Mec-Gar or newest Checkmate.

If it is a factory Sig and really is an old double stack, it would be a 226 or 228 mag...depending on it's length
