New Pistols

Just picked these up today after my NICS check appeal came through. Found out my now dead BIL may have given my name when he was arrested at some point so now my name is an alias for him. I gotta try to get that fixed.

Anyways on with the guns...

XDm 9mm 4.5 inch. I can't wait to shoot this gun.


XD9 SC. This will replace the XD40 I carry now. The 40 will go to the nightstand with the light attached.


I went with the 9mm for shootability, and the cost of ammo. Also the 19 rnds for the XDm, and 15/12 for the SC.

Congratulations. Is .40sw really more expensive than 9mm where you live? around here they cost the same and no matter how depleted the shelves are, there's always .40sw on the shelves.

Did you have to fill out any extra paperwork since you were buying more than 1 handgun at a time?

Nope just the 4473.

Also the 9mm is about 3-4 bucks a box more.

ive always found the XDs to be oddly proportioned. i dunno why, they look funny to me though. good gun though, i enjoyed shooting them. congrats my brotha!

Believe me it has it's moments. The shop I went into yesterday had so many good things in it. They even had some class III stuff on display. pretty decent prices on pistols, but I though they were a little high on the long guns. They wanted 450 for a Remy 870 pump. I saw a used one at Cabela's for 250 (which I may go back and get).

The buyer does not fill out extra paperwork for acquiring more than one handgun at a time.

The FFL dealer fills out the extra paperwork (3310.4) for acquiring more than one handgun in a five day time span and sends that extra paperwork to the BATFE.
