    AR Pistol Case

I just finished my first 80% AR build and am now the proud owner of an AR pistol.

As I started to plot out taking it to the range, it occurred to me that I don't have a case specific to the AR pistol and there doesn't seem to be a lot of options.

The two best so far seem to be the Plano 10505

and a sub-machine gun case like this one

I would much rather have a Pelican type case that takes a real lock as opposed to a brief case style case or a soft sided case.

What do other AR pistol owners out there use?

    Thanks in advance!

Fry's Electronics carries a few Pelican cases that might work for an AR pistol. They're a bit on the pricey side, but you will be paying for the quality. I have the rifle case and both my Kel-Tec and Stag AR fit nicely in it.

I use a Wilson tennis racket case. It's soft sided, but about as unobtrusive as one could get and perfectly sized for an 11" barreled pistol.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

I bought Red Dot (free shipping and no tax) from B&H photo and video and it came with free gift card on $25. On their web site I found this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...0_Gig_Bag.html
so instantly bought it and will be here in my home tomorrow. It cost me $2.95 love the case already

I bought a Head tennis racket case...cheap with a couple of exterior pockets (mags/range stuff) and dual main compartment zippers for the lock . I replaced the carry strap with a Vickers/BFG sling...
