Who else is going shooting today?

Taking the 1911 to the range today. Who else is going shooting today?

Really wanted to attend the Tactical Medicine Course in Marysville by LMS Defense. Jim is a great instructor. But the timing didn't work out.

Just got back. That's the great part about living so close to a range. You can spend a couple hours there and make it home for dinner.

First target of the day, 50+ rounds, not too shabby. My Kimber Custom II 45ACP is really starting to grow on me. One of these days I might become a full on 1911 fanboy. Just don't tell my Glock!

Shot about 100 rounds of 40 and 200 round of 9mm. I shot my SA 1911 9mm single stack at the action pistol practice stage and I really need to spend more time with regular guns. I'm an open class shooter waaaay back, then went to a limited class racegun, now I'm relearning standard iron sights of my SA 1911 and Glock 35. Very humbling. The 28 round practice stage that I would've completed in 15 seconds with my open gun went to 32 seconds with my 9 shot 9mm. I had to do 3 reloads, sheezzzz.... and had a double feed jam I had to clear too. It was still a great day at the range.

100 rounds through my new (used) Walther P1 from Turner's today. Not bad at all for a gun dated July 1976. Shot it better than all of the polymer pistols I've used except for the Glock 19. $319 well spent.

Just came back from Markley's in Watsonville. 200rds of 9mm through my Ruger SR9c. Went pretty well and had some good groups at 7 and 15 yds. Tried some shots at 25 yds but that didn't go so well lol.

Shot at USI with 650ball. Had a blast but did not shoot very well today. Too much coffee before shooting + 50% larger groups. Shot the G17 and Baer TRS. Man that TRS is a gun that will never get old.

went shooting today. Kinda annoyed my TLR-3 snapped off the rail of my Glock 29 just from recoil. one of the sides broke off. Its been fine on that gun for months and many rounds. I did good with my G17C though
