Powder River XDM Drop in Trigger

Anyone have any experience with Powder River XDM trigger??

Any issues in terms of reliability? How do you like it? Is it crisp with a short rest?

    thanks.

I had their Ultimate Match Target kit installed on my XDM after 2600 rounds fired. It more closely resembles a 1911 trigger now after installation in that it has a crisp break and short trigger reset. Very little take up now unlike in stock form. I have about 800 rounds fired with the new trigger and its been flawless. Would I do it again after firing it? Yes, I would. It just makes a great gun even better. Now, the only thing I'd advise is for you figure out whether you want a longer reach trigger or a shorter one? The PRP trigger breaks pretty far up the trigger guard..almost near the stock location so its great for people with long fingers/big hands who like a long reach trigger. If you have smaller hands and want a shorter reach trigger, then you might want to check out Springer Precision since their trigger is starts farther back and breaks near the back of the trigger guard.

I installed their Ultimate Easy fit XDM Trigger Kit. I emailed them and said I didn't want the trigger below 4lbs, but needed to be rid of the horrible pretravel. Only needed to file down one point and sand the trigger a little. I took my time so I didn't remove too much material, So I'd say it took me maybe two hours.

The change is night and day. It breaks clean and the reset is very short. I can't say mine is as crisp as a 1911, but its better than my 92FS. The easy kit was not hard to install at all. Just make sure you have the correct punches first. A set of jewler files would be nice as well, I used a stone.
