Are you located near the East Bay? If so I am meeting up with another Calgunner to give some lessons to. If local you are welcome to meet up with us and I will help you in any way I can. I have developed a pretty good system for correcting bad habits or better yet catching them before they become habits. I am going Saturday about 10:30-11am. PM me if interested. Sammy

Thanks again guys...I appreciate all the suggestions.... Still struggling a bit with the shaking/flinch, but I think I am improving (VERY SLOWLY). I have been going to the range more frequently and trying to improve. This was one of my better grids of the day today...

If only it were a bit to the right!
I think once 1 round was off target I was going for that area to try to make a consistent group. Again I know not great, but this (believe it or not) is an improvement for me. I think shooting .22 a lot has helped too.Comment

This is what we did in the military, dry fire with a coin balanced on the barrel. You need to be smooth with the trigger. My other problem was that my trigger pull wasn't smooth. I was jerking that trigger. To resolve that, I did way more dry fire practicing. I would balance a quarter on my pistol (sights aligned) and squeeze the trigger....release....repeat. My two goals....where to stay on target....and to keep the quarter steady (not shifting or falling).sigpicComment
