I know that the following companies make 9mm conversion barrels for the 40S&W handguns: KKM Precision, Storm Lake, Lone Wolf, and BarsTo. That seems so few considering the number of Glocks in the field. Are there any others? Appreciate your input.

I was under the impression that Jarvis got out of the conversion barrel business? On paper it looks as if Fire Dragon puts outs a fine product but I haven't come accross any threads/posting where individuals are claiming to use these....not popular for a reason (?) or do people simply not know about them?Comment

Run a Lone Wolf 40-9 barrel in my Glock 22. Is a little finicky at times (occasional stovepipes on the last round) but thats okay for me...I just treat it as a training tool to help clear malfunctions."1911 mag, twinkie, twinkie, cupcake, primary weapon mag"

At this point I am leaning towards the KKM product for my main pistol though I just bought a Lone Wolf to try out in my G27. In regards to KKM, couldn't find anyone that had these on sale...in fact, other than the manufacturer itself, I found very few places at all where it was being sold.Comment

I have a six inch ported EFK Firedragon barrel in my 5" tactical XD that is my back up open gun and it is an absolute tack driver. Not quite production legal though.
The barrel was custom ported by EFK to work just right with white box 9MM when I don't have time to reload. Over 15,000 rounds through it.

Glockstore has them for discounted prices (it will show in your cart) but they didn't have any in stock when I called. At this point I am leaning towards the KKM product for my main pistol though I just bought a Lone Wolf to try out in my G27. Why not buy direct? I gave the glockstore.com a couple months to get one, never did get them. Called KKM direct and they were just getting some in.
