Everyone knows that since glocks were introduced they have continually added support their chambers. A simple google search and you can see the difference. I have also noticed that my first gen XD9 has way less support than new models. I once took a picture of it and someone on xdtalk accused me of having had work done on it.
So then I started thinking. Maybe gun manufacturers purposely put less support in early model guns to gain a reputation for reliability. Less support surely equals better reliability, so why not? Seems like a smart marketing move.
Then again maybe I've just had one too many...
