I have a 38 special made in Germany, and i've had no luck finding any information on it. I.m new to this site, so i hope someone out there can help. This 6 shot revolver loads and unloads like a single action, but it is a double action pistol. On the left side of the grip it has a round gold in-lay, that has a RG63. On the right grip it has the same circle with ROHM. Cer.# 8111. On the barrel it has ROHM GMBH SONTHEIM/BRENZ . Can anyone tell me what it's worth, or any other thing about it? Thanks in advance!!

It is a Rohm RG63
They are considered to be a "Saturday Night Special".
Not worth a whole lot, maybe $100.
Here is a page with some links http://rohmrg38s.weebly.com/new-page.html -
Sorry to thread jack but I loled so hard at this guys take down wright up.
RG26 take-down ... provided by "356" bryco-jennings-jimenezarms.com
Instructions
1) Make sure gun is unloaded.
2) Remove magazine (not required)
3) Turn safety to "safe" (Red dot covered)
4) Push safety to the left (you will notice once on "safe" you can manually move
it a little more to the left. See red arrow on pix below.
5) Think...where is the firing pin spring going to fly. (Giving this a thought
will prevent you from spending two hours looking for the spring...)
6) Pull up on the take down button. See yellow arrow.
7) Slowly move slide back, up and off. By going slow, you can "feel" the point
where the slide will come off AND keep the spring from doing its own velocity
test. You only need to come back about 1/3" or so...
If it does not come off the first time, repeat...they really do come apart.
RG26 tear down is really that simple, and it only took this idoit with his PhD a
half-dozen posts, several schematics, a diagram and Diehard to figure it out.Name: Dobalina, Mr.Bob Dobalina
