    Kimber conversion .45 -> .22LR question

    For practice, I have been considering this . . . Rimfire Target Conversion Kit from Kimber.

    A few questions:
    1) CA legal to do?
    2) If anyone has done this - how did it work?

    Thanks!

    1) Yes, legal to do.
    You can even buy online, and delivered to your door.

    Oh, consider the GSG-1911-.22.
    Complete gun for the same price.

      Maybe, but the wife said no more guns for awhile - so technically a conversion kit does not violate the "wife law"!

        I've been using a Kimber Conversion for quite a few years now. Simple to swap uppers, runs great and is very accurate. Mine will eat most any 22 rounds. I couldn't be happier.

          Same as above .. ^ Best money I've spent. Best practice I've had.
