Another 5.7 pistol?

Will there ever be another? The one FN makes is just too ugly. I do however like the idea of a super capacity, high speed round. I don't hear any gun makers following FN and offering any products that shoot that ninja round.

It's really a niche round. They wanted their SMG and pistol to share ammo, but even the Secret Service who employs their SMG doesn't want their pistol.

Years ago I remember seeing an anti gun woman on TV and she was in support of single shot firearms, only. A hunter could always reload if he missed. If you shot an intruder, why would you want to shoot him again? Are you mean or something?

Common sense gun laws like this would prevent situations like we saw in AZ and the Congresswoman. That's why in the UK shotguns are limited to two shells.

It's not the easiest round to shoehorn into a pistol. If you examine the Five seven pistol, it has a weirdly wide (lengthwise) grip.

It's also much more powerful than a .22 magnum out of a pistol (should be a match for a .22 mag out of a rifle) as it's designed around the 10" P90 barrel.

Recoil feels closer to a rifle- not much climb with a very quick snap.
