I have a Glock 19 and a Glock 23. I recently sent my G17 back to Glock for a 3rd time for a repair which they could not fix so they are going to send me a new Glock. I have my choices of G17, G19, G22, & G23. I assume I can also get a G26 or G27 since they are the same price. I originally asked for a G21SF but the Glock rep said he can only stay within the same price models.
So my question is which model should I pick? Should I get two G23 and use one strictly for home protection? Or just get the G17 again and hope for Glock Perfection this time? I could go for a G22 and just get a conversion barrel for 9MM ammo.
Of course the last option is to just pick one and then sell the unfired Glock on Calguns.
EDIT: I should add that I'm leaning towards the .40 S&W since I can get a conversion barrel.
