    Glock 34 Trigger

Are the G34 trigger different than standard Glock tirggers?

If so, is it just lighter (as in 4.5 pounds vs. 5 pounds?)

    Any other trigger differences? Thanks.

The G34/G35 models come standard with the 3.5# connector.

I can't remember the actual trigger weight on my G34 compared to my G17 as it's been ages since Ive used a gauge, but as you put it, the G34's 3.5# connector does give you a slightly lighter trigger pull.

Actually, they come with a "-" connector, which is really a 4.5lbs connector. However, a lot of people call them 3.5lbs connectors which they are not. The pull on a G34/35 is roughly 5-5.5lbs, which is about 1lbs less than the standard connector.

Bingo. The Glcok 3.5 connector is one of those things that is like putting a sticker that says GT500 on your mustang. Just because it says so does not make it so. Faulty marketing at best.

I've always found that the stock glock trigger is closer to 7-8 lbs and the "-" connector is closer to 5.

Not all glock 34/35 come with (-) connector. Blue label glock 34/35 come with standard connector.

True, the LEO guns come with the standard connector, or the - connector and a NY1/2 spring.

I usually don't talk in terms of LEO guns since I'm not a LEO.

Correct. I believe they also come with fixed sights (or at least, they used to) rather than adjustable.
