    Help with new GSG 1911 please!

    So I dont know if i am doing something wrong or did i just get a bad gun with a bad extractor....Watch and let me know if there is something I dont know!!! I just got it today and I wanted to take it out tomorrow

      You have to remember it will be a empty case coming out when you fire it. It will be shorter. Looks to me the nose of bullet is hitting. That won't be there with live fire. I could be wrong. Good luck.

        Shoot it first. See if it exhibits the same issue when firing.

        Hand racking might not be "Strong" enough to work properly.

            Ok hopefully thats true....my sr9 ejects live ammo hand racking it just fine so i didnt know about that. Hopefully it all goes well tomorrow.

                  also anyone know how to remove the mag dissconnect? never done it before, stripped it but i cant find any vids of how to do it or anyone explaining it. Any help would be appreciated.

                    It's part of the main spring housing(msh). If you feel comfortable removing the msh, then the mag disconnect & mag disconnect spring can be removed and left out during reassembly. It's a metal part & a spring that aren't found in a normal msh. Just take them out. No tools necessary.

                      First of all, 22 rounds don't like to extract unless they have been fired (as stated above). Take it to the range and shoot it. If anything, it's probably the magazine but I'm guessing the fact that it isn't ejecting spent brass is the biggest problem. My Walther P22 does the same thing, but functions flawlessly while shooting at the range.
