I have a 239 in 9mm and enjoy it. Fun shooter, easy to conceal, minimal recoil, and it's a Sig.

It is a great gun. My Brother used to CC one, when he CC'd. I find that it is just a little to big for CCing and weighs too much as well, IMO. But for a single stack 9mm it is perfect. The trigger is good. But if the gun is for CCing I would look a little harder.

Good points. As I recall, the grip is fairly short, also. Seemed snappy in the 40 I tried, although the 9 may be more manageable.

I had one as well. A little on the heavy side, compared to it's polymer counterparts. But it's weight is what made it shoot so well. Single stack which gave it a nice thin grip. Seemed flatter than my Glocks. It was a very nice piece.

And the .357 sig is even more snappy than the .40 lol. So much so that is is uncomfortable. But the 9mm is very nice to shoot and soft shooting considering the gun weighs almost 2 pounds unloaded.

I had one in .40 and my only complaint was that it wasn't in 9mm. It's just about one of the best guns I've ever owned. I don't know about concealing one, I don't look at it as a CCW gun but I suppose you could.

Really? My p239 40 shoots very soft. It's one of my favorites.

SIG P239 is one of the very best CCW options.

I just hate the looks of the round trigger guard. But I love the P6 (P225)

I used to carry a 239 and regret selling it. It was pretty compact but I put hogue grips on it which made it a bit thicker. Shot great.

I have this in .40 It's a bit snappy. I'm still getting used to the DAK trigger. It's a long pull and I'm having trouble pulling clean through the break...

                              Great little gun.

I have one in 9mm and love it. It's my current nightstand gun, because it has never had any Failure to Anything; feed, fire, eject, nada, since I've owned it.

That (nightstand status) may change once my new-ish 1911 is completely broken in and has proven itself reliable.

I bought it used (from my wife's ex) for $100 with a range bag full of holsters, cleaning stuff, gun wallet, and a couple hundred rounds of ammo.

It does have a little heft to it, so it might get a little heavy for CC, but that won't matter to me 'til I can get a permit in San Diego which I don't see happening anytime soon.

I think the weight helps the shootability a lot. I think it would probably be pretty snappy in .40

The grip is kinda' short but I have small hands so I like it fine with the Hogue wraparounds. You can get 10 round mags from the Sig store which give you one more finger-groove for your pinky, but Sig mags are freaking $!!

Love my little Sig-let, I think I'll go get it out of the safe right now!
