    S&W pistol question?

I am looking for a 908 or 3913/3914 S&W pistol. I see that they are still on the roster but I never see them in gun stores unless they are used. Does anyone know if S&W still makes these guns? Why would they be on the roster if S&W didn't make them anymore.

Also they are NOT on S&W website, If they still made these models they should be on the website. Right?

There hard to find. I'm almost positive S&W only makes them for LEO contracts and has pretty much finished that up. I saw them used at cabellas in reno couple weeks ago. They had a 3913 and I wanted it so bad....250 something. Great gun, drop dead reliable and good looking. There hard to find in Norcal atleast...

There are some listed on gunbroker between 350-525$. There's a bunch on gunsamerica for 440 or so. GB and other sites are decent places to look, since finding everything you could possibly want at the local gun shop is out of the question, unless they do special orders.

Just remember that if you buy from an out of state dealer (not a private seller), you'll get bent for the use tax, in addition to DROS/FFL fees.

S&W autos are well made and reliable. They are very underrated. My Dad owned a S&W 59 and I owned and sold a S&W 459.

                  Wow! $250?
                  That's a great price.
                  Might be worth the drive.

Yea I'm pretty sure the add was 250-280. Something like that. Heck I'd trade my beretta 96 with mags for a good old smith 3913.

I always liked the 3rd gen Smiths, though I've never owned one. Really wanted a 3913 and CS9 at one time.

They show up in the private sales forum every now and then. I've always wanted a 3913nl, my buddy has a 908 that he treats like a Glock (never cleans it) that runs like a top.
