Doesn't appear that you're an employee. Have you considered dropping the drama?

If they haven't offered a discount then they don't owe you a discount. They do owe you an answer though. Is their CS department in the same building?

LEE if you read the entire thred you would have seen that I wrote I'm an employee of the company that owns them and you may call it drama, now I dont know your experince in the busineess community. As my job with the company dealing with clients on a daily bases and owning my own business if a person experince poor customer service i would want to know so that it can be corrected. you are titled to your opinion if you still consider that drama its duly noted, have a great day

Don't bash them, ESPECIALLY since you work for a parent company. It's not professional from a work and personal standpoint.

If you think you might be entitled to a discount of some kind, talk to YOUR company. See what the policy is, and if there even is one. If you can't get an answer after talking to a few people in your company, then call Safariland and ask your question.

I would hazard to say the people monitoring the general customer service email inbox, and the Facebook page are going to be clueless about employee discounts and how they apply to parent/sister companies. You might just be asking the wrong people the wrong question.

Bryan, they have given discount before they use to have product showing in our building for their clients about 2 years ago and at the time i wasnt into guns as i am now. my email to them was to find out if they still are. No their CS is at their building down the street from mine

Starting this thread was unprofessional. Why not try just calling them while they are open and you are still at home?

Maybe ask your work? I will say from my end I made an order Sunday and had an issue with my credit card going through properly (not safarilands fault) and called today regarding it. They customer service lady listened to my problem, told me she would call me back after making sure no other payments were made on my card. They got back with me in about 2 hours and were very friendly. I have to say I am thus far impressed with their service. So as my buddy charlie says a big "Winning" to safariland .

Sounds unprofessional to put on a public forum. Imo.

NorCal, your right I know I shouldnt bash them lol I dont think I'm entitled to it I dont even know if I am thats why I'm just inquiring about it just if I was shopping at a store and ask do they offer military discount, if they say yes I show them my ID (love that military discount by the way lol )

Like I said at first I did email the CS directly and no response so I tried the FB page because I saw other people post they were responding to right away

If you think of it, your question is of a different nature compared to what everyone else on Facebook is asking. And it's also not like they would make a comment publicly available regarding a discount policy they have. That's just bad for them as a business, and they have no way to vet you via Facebook to know if you would be privy to that information or not.

I really think you'll get better response if you avoid asking Customer Service about this.

Ya I was going to add that I would take that off there and here as well ( Things like "Fail", "Should I bash" etc) Ito be honest. I don't know who you work for but I know where I work that we are responsible for what things we have on our facebook accounts including our posts (moral character that sort of thing). It most likely wouldn't be seen too kindly by your parent company (or safariland by that matter) to have negative statements that can be traced back to you (I hope you see where that is going). I know my work would have a talk/fire (if the offense was that bad) with myself or others.
