    Ortgies size

I'm considering purchasing an Ortgies pistol, but I have a question regarding the size of the gun. I know they came in .25 .32 and .380 caliber, and I know the .25 model is smaller than the .32 model, but is the .32 model any smaller than the .380?

I asked my wife about Ortgies sizes and she said bigger is better.

      OP.

.380 is more powerful than .32

      (.380 is 9MM short)

My ex always told me it's about the motion of the ocean :-)

I'm well aware .380 is more powerful than .32

I was asking if the .380 Ortgies pistol itself was any larger than the .32 Ortgies, because I know they are both larger than the .25 Ortgies pistol.

We're not talking about cartridge sizes, rather the size of the gun itself.

I am far from an expert on Ortgies pistols, but if my memory is correct the same model came in .25acp and .32. It sort of resembles a Browning M-1910. I don't recall them making a .380.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

The .32 and .380 are the same guns with a different barrel. My father has the .25 and .32 and said that the .380 is very difficult to find.

It's 100% predictable, but I come to threads like this just to read the above responses. Anyway, carry on...

Yeah, we're a bunch of pervs, but at least in a fun way. I ask because I'm looking to buy an Ortgies (see ad in WTB forum), and had never held the 380, so I was curious if it felt the same in your hand as the 32.

I'll have to keep an eye on the gunshows. I found one in 25, but it's too small for my tastes. I want a bigger gun ;-)

Well, I just got back from the gun show, and it seems the .25 was more common. Found 3 Ortgies .25 pistols, but unfortunately none in .32 or .380.

Anyone know how many of each were produced?
