There is a long thread about them in the rimfire section, but from what I have read, most people are happy with them.

If I were to pick a 22lr from sig, it'd be the sig conversion kit for a 226/229/220, although that would assume you had the sig to begin with.

Just my 2 cents, for the $.

Alreay have a sig 226 9mm. Have a mosquito in 10 day, found one for a real smoking deal that i could not refuse. Would not use the mosquito as a carry weapon, more so just a fun range toy and was just curious to see if anyone had any exp with them.

That is what I was trying to say. I'd get the 22lr conversion kit sig makes if I already had a sig, vs buying a mosquito.

But if you got a great deal, cool. Enjoy.

I answered on your other thread, but I'll add that if you end up with feeding problems, I'd contact Scott at Apex Tactical in Morro Bay (actually Los Oso). He does a great job getting them running, but there is only so much you can do for the trigger

Most people may be happy with them but, most people don't shoot them a lot. The one's I've seen, which get used, end up starting to fall apart around 20K-30K rounds. Definately not a good long term investment. For close to the same price, I'd rather have a Ruger, Browning or old High Standard that should be good for well over a million rounds.

I enjoy shooting mine. I had some ejection problem in the begining but not now. It's a fun pistol.

Very fun pistol, but the price needs to be brought down. I got mine for $299 on sale. Should of just bought a conversion kit for my P226.

I occassionally feel the need to get rid of it, but then my friends & I spend a few hours on dueling trees and I like my Mosquito again.

I just bought a mosquito today too. I can't wait to have a cheap handgun to shoot.

nothing against the mosquito but i would just rather have the ruger mark 1, 2 or 3 but thats just me
That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me. You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. Dosen't show up on your airport X-ray machines, here, and it cost more than you make in a month.

                              A great firearm

                              Hello Everybody:

I own a mosquito and it is a very good gun.

But, like everybody said, it is very picky as to which ammo you should use.

And Sig recommends: CCI mini LR HP 40 Grain, pretty much flawless.

I bought the firearm and it included only ONE mag ( metal ), and I did buy 2

more after market ( plastic ) and they seem to have a feeding problem every

                              now and then.

Overall, anyone who shot this gun DID agree that it is a really fun gun.

What does bother me is the extra space between the front and rear sights

when I try to aim ( unlike the almost tight space between the sights that

                              glock has ).
