well maybe not exactly today, but close enough. It was the first pistol I bought when I turned 21 many years ago. It has served me well for so many years. I got me through the LA Riots, my years working at a gunshop in college, and all my explorations through the CA deserts.
Long before kydex became widely used, the Glock Sport/Combat holster was king. I remember buying the holster, mag pouch, and a 17 +2 mag in a factory Glock kit. I have shot thousands of rounds through this gun, even some horrible Egyptian corrosive machine gun ammo back in the college days when I had to weigh bullet money against beer money. It never failed me. Here is a few pictures along with the vintage gear I carried it in so long ago..I was well armed then and still am today:
