    M&P 9 MAG SAFETY

    Greetings, I have a fullsize M&P 9 equipped with the mag safety. Is it possible to disable? If so could you recommend a good gun smith around Sacramento. Thanks!

              I am thinking of getting the modification done and all I need is a brass pin punch. All of my pistols don't have the magazine disconnect feature and I like to keep it that way. I don't need the CADOJ mandate a useless safety measure for my safety.

                      Just to let the OP know that the hardest part of the procedure is hammering out the roll pin. I ordered a set of roll pin punches and after that it's a piece of cake.

                                              I love my glock, brass in the face does suck, but it seems to happen less since I'm shooting it more and more. I still don't like XDs or M&Ps cause they got all that extra "safety"

                                                  The only "extra safety" of an XD is the back grip safety which is as passive as it gets.
