You do know that lead comes out of the ground right:

Are you better off than you were four years ago?

leadless does not mean lead free.

You are right, it has lead free primer and bullet is fully covered.

Not sure I'd call it "a bunch" but, yes, lead does come from the ground. Not sure it's any worse than polluting the ground with copper, tin, antimony (which is toxic and is in some bullets), steel, aluminum, tungsten, and/or whatever else is in bullets and in lead-free bullets.

A lot of the lead-free ammunition still has the teeniest bit of lead in the primer, I believe. It's just the projectile that is lead free. A lot of the lead core projectiles are completely encapsulated in jacket so there is no lead exposure at all, or chance of any leaded gas coming off the base of the bullet while shooting (some FMJ's, etc, have open bases and jacketed everything else).

I always wash my hands after shooting, just to be safe. Most indoor ranges around here have excellent ventilation. I'm sure I'm very regularly exposed to much worse things than the lead from all of the shooting I have done -- fumes from filling up the gas tank, for instance. Don't think gas fumes are bad? Lots of studies say otherwise: http://www.wired.com/autopia/2009/11...mes-road-rage/

I have actually heard of a lot of people who have died due to lead bullets, but they were all "downrange," so to speak.

Leadless / frangible certainly has a place in shooting steel targets where you want to mitigate ricochet.

The ammo works just as fine as regular umc ammo and is accurate enough for plinking in my experience.

Ive used their 9mm with satisfactory results, dont worry about it too much.
Remember you want to try to run as many different kinds of ammo through your gun to see what work for your gun not everyone elses.

It's $12. Buy a box or two, give it a "shot," see if you and your gun like it. Some guns shoot some ammo accurately and not other ammo, and other guns it's the opposite. Some guns don't like cycling light-for-caliber ammo, some don't like cycling heavy. Some guns don't care, but some shooters prefer lighter or heavier. It's quality ammo from a quality manufacturer, so it's not going to hurt, and the price for entry isn't so bad. Go for it!

does it matter if its 115gr or 124gr for target practice?

                        thanks

Either weight should work just fine for your intended use

More recoil with 124gr compared to 115gr? actually 124gr is a $1 cheaper than 115gr.

                              Thanks
