    smith and wesson night guard

So I have read some bad things about the night guards. I bought a ng model 357 which is the 41 mag. I have only put about 40 rounds through it. I did have the nut that holds the cylinder release come loose and fall off. Smith and season sent me a new one at no cost. I was wondering what if any problems my fellow night guard owners have encountered.

I don't think that is unique to the NG series. I had a similar problem with my Trailboss (3" 629), a dab of loctite solved my problem. I think the true culprit is big thumping calibers in snub-nosed S&Ws.

My 357NG went right back due to a > 18# DA trigger pull from the factory.

      Seems OK and reliable now.
