Can Kydex be heated a bit and refigured?
A friend bought a Kydex holster for an FN 45 - he has the FN 45 Tactical with a threaded barrel, a thread protector nut has been permanently attached and when trying to holster it the slightly longer barrrel and nut hits the bottom of the holster. The bottom of the holster is open, what is needed is slightly bending out the opening a bit to allow the thread protector nut to pass. I figure some heat will work better than cutting.
Possible, or will the damn thing go up in a polyholster burst of flame?
