    Glock 19 front sight...fell off?

Was up shooting in the Kern mountains this weekend with some friends and ran a few hundred rounds through my Glock 19. When I got home to clean all the guns, noticed the front sight was gone! Screw was still there, but the night sight was gone...wasn't in the case either and showed no signs of being loose prior to that. Is this something that the manufacturer will replace if I contact them or am I just SOL and have to purchase a new front sight? Second question: if I have to purchase, got any good front sight recommendations?

Glock should replace them or fix them. if Not NOVAK TRITIUM NIGHT SIGHTS or Merpolights are great.

If it was a factory night sight I would expect Glock to replace it, aftermarket not so much.

Amazon has Trijicon 3 dot green night sights for Glock for $75 shipped.

Besure to put loctite If it ended up to install it your self.

I like my Warren Tactical sights. I'd stay away from Novak rears and other ramped rear sights. There's no point in buying rear sights that don't work for one handed slide operations.

Why removable? Do you regularly switch your front sight? Use the red loctite #271 if you don't want it to fall off again.

Brownells sells front sights separately I think for much cheaper. Same with Glockmeister if I remember right.

Because tritium dies, and eventually he'll have to swap them again to get night sights.

@OP, use removable Loctite. Trust me.

Can't you just twist off the old bolt when that time comes? You get a new bolt with the new sight.

Thanks for the feedback everyone...they were factory night sights (Tritium, and yes, they have died since the gun is an 05 Gen 3 model)....I don't change my sights so the screw must have just worked loose over time. I'll contact Glock and see what happens, will post an update when I find out. Thanks!
