    Beretta M92FS dovetail frontsight

Does any one know any gunsmiths who will put a dovetail cut on an M92FS slide and install night sights? San Diego/California local or otherwise, willing to put a little shipping behind it. Thanks in advance.

I'm aware trijicon will just drill the front sight out for you and secure a tritium vial, but i'm looking more for having the dovetail cut put in so I can replace it with a brigadier sight.

I too would like to know. Might have to have your slide shipped. The guys over on the beretta forums would probably know where that can be done.

Trijicon or Tooltech will square your Beretta away. Don't know of anyone local.

If you have a regular 92FS slide, then you are SOL. There just isn't enough material to do that kind of thing. As previously mentioned, your only option with that same slide would be to simply have the small hole drilled out.

But, if you spend just a day or two looking on the Berettaforum.net classifieds, you will easily find a Brig or Vertec slide. For the used prices those seem to come up at, you'd probably spend nearly as much to have a skilled machinist work on your stock slide.

Yes, you need a Vertec slide or Brigadier slide - or buy a Beretta model with a dovetailed slide (92A1 and 90-Two)

Tooltech Gunsight will drill the front sight and install Tritium. Trijicon doesn't actually do that. They used to just forward the slide to Tooltech, actually. I have been told that Tooltech does the factory night sights.

I had 2 slides done by Tooltech a couple of months ago. 2-3 week turn around, including shipping time both ways
