    .40 REVOLVER

    does anybody know if Taurus model 405 .40 s&w revolver allowed in Cali I have a friend who really wants one of these and he said ammo bros can order one for him but I don't see it on the roster, and I wonder if he is mistaken or am I, he owns a glock 23 and he wants to keep ammo the same .

      no, it's not on the list.

        I been wanting a .40sw revolver too, too bad they dont make em legal here.

              I have a 40S&W Vaquero.

              It would cost a little more than the Taurus, any Taurus, though.

                get a S&W 610.... they're still on the list I believe and with moon clips you can shoot .40 plus have an excuse to buy a Glock 20 NEXT time...

                            well I spoke to my friend just now and I also tried to sell him on the s@w but money is tight so no go on that, but I found out his dad lives in Nevada.
                            Now I have another question since the Taurus is off roster could his father purchase it and gift it to him and if so what does he have to do? ship it to a ffl or could we just road trip over there and bring it back and mail something in that says it was a gift.
                            I have never done this so I am kind of at a I don't even loss as to what to tell him and I knew you guys could send me in the right direction.
                            I dont even know if this is an option.
