Highly Modified Hanguns

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you had any crazy highly modified hand guns? Something like these:

You should see some of the guns used in USPSA Open Division: handguns, AR's and shotguns.

Steel matchs and bowling pin shoots open division sometimes have even more modifications done due to lower PF and other rules differences.

IPSC Modified division has some really funky looking pistols due to their fit-in-the-smaller-box rules.

Wow - I am used to seeing crazy looking long guns, but hand guns sometimes get really out of control, like the 1911 with the spikes on the grip, like a brass knuckle sort of thing - I will see if I can find a pic.

From my recollection, the one you describe with spikes on the grip was created by TJ Custom Gunworks - let's just say that he does extremely really good work, much less cheesy than the spiked grip guns.However, googling his website and clicking on it brings up some other company; "Ward Davis Associates". However, if you click on "cache" it will bring up his web-page. Weird - that's never happened to me before. TRY THIS:

Not sure why clicking on the google-found direct link, goes to this other completely different business now, unless it is his business and he simply is doing something different now days as his main business. Yup - that's the one I am talking about, I think he called it "The 1911 from hell." I had the same problem with his page.

That thing was crazy. I am talking about totally just off the wall modified hand guns here. That Glock slide that I first posted almost looks like a cut away model.

That home-brew engraving on the 'Stealth III" kind of makes me cringe..

The overall idea is interesting though to add grip- I wonder how it shoots...

The more I look over the site now that it's working, well, I give points for creativity, but Dave Lawver who I've used (in Covina) is about 1/2 the price, and IMO his work is more detail oriented. The slide on my comped Para is blended to perfection- I wouldn't accept gaps and a non blended comp, but that's just me.
