    Check out the Rugers. Good and relatively cheap.

    S&W makes good ones, but they're not cheap.

          I would get a s&w 17/617. I don't know why people wantto get cheap 22s. It is going to be the gun that you shoot more than any other gun so I think it should be just as nice or nicer than your other guns.
