    Jericho 941?

Looking for useful information and opinions on a Jericho 941 which I might pick up from a relative. Holsters, good prices on .41ae ammo, trouble spots, you name it. Thanks!

I don't know how much info you'll get - those guns were never very common. The Jericho & Baby Eagle were all about the same, so holsters and stuff should be interchangeable.
As far as prices - it's whatever you find it for, 'specially on the used market in CA.
.41ae has a rebated rim to fit a 9mm bolt face, and is not one of the super-common rounds, so will be a bit more expensive to shoot. I think IMI/Sampson is the only factory load for it.

Should be a cool gun, though! Good power for the size of the gun.

If you can find the ammo it will be really expensive. Try doing a google search. Maybe you could find a 9mm conversion barrel for it. Mark

It's basically a CZ-75 clone made by the Israelies. I bet some aftermarket barrel maker has a 9mm barrel for it if you're so inclined to change it to shoot the much cheaper 9mm.

Yeah, the rebated rim of the 41AE cartridge. Extraction and ejection failures are very common in the 41AE Jericho, unfortunately. I would also convert to 9mm, which was the whole idea. IMI Jericho conversion kits are around and I would pick one up for sure.

I wonder if a Baby DE 9mm barrels would fit? I thought the 941 came with both barrels originaly.

Thanks for the suggestion. This one comes with both slides and barrels. The weird thing is it also has containers in the case for 50-round boxes of ammo, never seen that in a case before. Supposedly one box for the 9mm and one box for the .41AE. So it's a two-fer!

I'm gonna check for the possibility of a custom 10mm conversion kit for the gun now. (I've been reading that .41AE is 10mm, but I'm gonna verify those claims.)

Damn, checked with BarSto for a 10mm conversion, Irv said the 10mm case is too long. A .404&w barrel is possible, which isn't so bad neither. I'd probably want a .357 sig barrel in that case =)

I found the Jericho 941 from 1990-91 that comes with both barrels and 2 mags for each being sold by some one out of state. Do you think it would be a problem getting it shipped here?

If it's not on the DOJ safety list it can't be shipped in. The only way it could be done is if your parents or grandparents who have to live out of state would buy it. Then they could ship it to your ffl and he could do the interfamily transfer. Mark

The 941 and the magnum research Baby Eagle are the exact same gun, all parts will interchange, as long as they are for the same caliber.

The guns are identical, but the importer marked them with many different names throughout the years to try and get them to sell better.

First it was the Jericho 941.
Then it was the UZI Eagle.
And now it is the Baby Desert Eagle.

Nobody knows what a "jericho" is but if you put the name UZI or Desert Eagle on it, newbies who don't know jack about guns will think they are getting something else that they aren't.
