My wife decided to go to the range with me today (Yay) and she was shooting my Ruger Mk2 target when the front sight blade flew off. The cross pin that holds the blade into the sight base sheared off! Fortunately we found the blade. Really surprised at the failure of the pin. It isn't like there is a huge recoil impulse through the gun to cause the failure. Now to find a punch tiny enough to push the broken sections out (3) and the pin to go back in!
