    First Pistol Qual with M9

    So i start the range this week. im a 2 time expert with rifle but this will be the first time wualing with a pistol...wish me luck..i hate the beretta

    will keep everyone posted

      thanks..i am not shakey, but sometimes on the 2nd and 3rd shots i flinch...

        remember to breathe. it helps you refocus and get back into that relaxed state. I sometimes forget and it messes up following shots too.

          On your practice shots get used to the sight picture with your sights lined up. Concentrate on the front post. Don't rush the shots just relax and let the recoil happen. Goodluck.

            i was in the same boat, rifle expert but unsure with the M9. I turned out to be MASTERFUL with it, i learned to use it very well and never qualified less than expert for the rest of my time in the corps

            In fact im now a huge fan of the beretta now, nothing rlse fits my hand or shoots as well.
