    New nightsights

Planning on replacing the stock sights on my HK45C but stuck between the Heinie Straight 8s or the standard Trijicon 3-dots.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We recently redesigned our website and many of our links have changed.…

Anyone have experience with either or know a place where I can test out the straight-8s(any handgun platform can do)?

Have you considered doing just the front sight?

Personally would pick the Heinie 8's just for the fact I have all trijicon on my toys!Good Luck

i have been considering the Heinie offering and the Trijicon HD. i have always used Trijicon 3 dot when using night sights, but now would like a faster sight acquisition than the 3 dot provides.

the Trijicon 3 dot is a high quality system imo; i have them installed on a few of my w german Sigs. my eyesight simply isn't what it used to be, which is why i am considering alternatives.

        good luck.

I have 2-dot Warren Tactical Trijicon Night Sights on my M&Ps. Love that style and am far faster/accurate with them than the 3 dot night sights.

Have you looked into Mepros to see if they make a setup for your pistol? I have a set and love them.

I have checked out the mepros but I've heard that they don't last as long as trijicons and not as clear either. Mostly I'm wondering if the 2 dot method is better/faster than the standard 3 dots.

i have always been very happy with my factory Von Stavenhagen (front dot-rear bar) sights on my old P series Sigs. i do find them to enhance sight acquisition compared to the 3 dot setup i've got on a few of my Sigs.

Ive shot the Heinie's at a 4day Frontsight pistol class (1st and last time) I didnt like the sight picture, though in their defense it might have something to do with the fact im right handed but left eye dominate?
