    New XD Trigger

Is there anything I can do to the trigger of my XD to make it like a 1911 trigger?

You could also try the Powder river precision trigger kits. That's what I have in my XD and I love it. Haven't tried an XD with a Springer kit, but I hear they're just as good. I was able to install my trigger kit myself, don't know if you can do that with the springers.

Either way, you're not going to get a 1911 trigger. They're two different mechanisms and you can get close, but not the same.

I bought the Springer kit from Dave a while back. I had trouble installing it and Dave walked me through the installation over the phone...great guy! My friend sent his to Scott Springer to have the kit installed. His trigger is a "little" bit better than mine. I don't know if it's because Scott does something a little extra, or my friend shoots his more than I do. If you do send it to Scott, check his web page, he will send you a shipper at a reduced cost.
