    My barrel is CRACKED?! UPDATE

RIA made it right. Just picked up my pistol from my LGS and I'm very happy with RIA's customer service. They fitted a new barrel and sent the gun back to me with test fire and repair docs, a new case, a spare bushing and recoil spring, and a new Mec-Gar mag. In all, it took about two weeks from when I shipped it to them. All that's left is for me to go and shoot it to make sure it's 100%.

I was cleaning out my barrel and noticed that a little spot was catching patch fibers. Took a closer look and it looks like it could be a crack! I've never heard of a barrel being flawed like this. It only has 100 rounds through it!

It was a serious pain to get a good pic, but here is the best I could do.

What kind of barrel are we looking at?

It'll help if we can compare it with others.
      It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.

Might be time to find out how good RIA's warranty and customer service is. Give 'em a hollar.

Hopefully their lifetime warranty will cover it (net chatter is they are good at taking care of their customers).

Let us know what the outcome is...

that works too, I have yet to need their services, but they gave me reasonable prices on some upgrades for my Tactical, and I know some people taht had had problems with theirs and they always exceeded expectations, good luck and let us know how it goes...also make sure to attatch your picture to the email

I'm not seeing it - where in the picture is the crack, is it horizontal or vertical in the picture?
