most common handgun ammo?

If all hell broke loose and you had to scrounge for handgun ammo which caliber do you think would be most available? .22 not allowed

9mm. Cuz the guys with the .45's would liberate the 9mm ammo from the cretins.

Without a doubt 9mm by a far margin, with .38 special and .45ACP coming in second. .40 is gaining ground since many LE agencies have switched over.

9mm and 45 ...that's why I have a spare barrel for my m&p40 in 9mm just in case.

9mm is probably the most common, but it may be the first to disappear from shelves in an emergency because so many of those guns are out there. I would think something commonly available yet a little out of style like .38 Special would be the easiest to find after the bangers strip the shelves bare of 9mm.

.40 might be another good choice since its usually stocked everywhere, but the guns aren't as common yet as 9's.
