Know a lot of people who have said great things about them......

But see A LOT of BAD things about them and REALLY shady business.

Personally never done business with them... But from the aligations and how often I
have seen the same complaints over the past 6 months I dont think I will be anytime soon.


And half the time after all the Fee's after getting it to my FFL its cheaper just to buy local or I only save $10.....
Not worth the risk IMHO

Another plus for Buds is that you can get a Buds card (GE) which gives you 6 months at 0% for the credit card price.

This is how I have been doing it, you have to spend $500 though. I ordered a Glock 22 a couple days ago for $499 and ordered a $2 package of targets to meet the requirement.

I've only bought one gun from them and no problems at all. A new local FFL only charges $65 (DROS included) for transfers so that's a big plus.

Like what? I mean, I know of them manipulating the reviews etc... while unethical - it doesn't affect me much.

Other thing is, if you don't get the firearm you want.. it can be a hassle. You run this risk with every high volume seller. You pretty much have to prove they F'd up and not you otherwise you pay restocking fees.

To be honest that's enough for me not to use them... If that doesn't bother you guys then go for it. I'm just saying things like that being that common is not a good business with me.

Someone on this thread owned up to making a mistake and having to pay a restocking fee. They were honest. You know how many people would blame "Buds" or any other gun shop? People are prone to make simple mistakes and them included but when it happens you can bet the "victim" is going to roll onto the Internet and post his or her disdain of the offender. I'm guessing half the time its a failure to communicate between TWO parties but you only get one side of it.

Having been in retail (in the past) some of my most memorable moments were standing up for myself or employees and firing stupid arse customers. Granted they are "usually" right but not when offensive and stupid.

+1 After saving a bunch of money while i lived in a free state with no hassles I give Buds 2 thumbs up and this wasnt 1 transaction but 15. If you done your research and you know what gun you want its as easy as 123

Before I became an FFL I purchased many guns from Buds and had absolutely no issues. I now receive shipments for clients (including the OP) on a daily basis from Buds. Again, no issues so far.
