    1911 9mm Mags?

I need some help finding good magazines for a Springfield 1911 9mm.

It's an old national match, and I have one factory mag that works fine. I bought some Mecgar mags (I think thats what they are) and they don't fit right and won't allow the slide to function (yes, they are 9mm, I double checked)

Anyone have some info/experience with others?

Mecgars work just fine in my Colt series 80 in 9mm. What doe the magazines do or not do for your pistol as far as functioning goes?

It seems the feed lips are either too high, or just the wrong shape. I tried grinding one down with my dremel to match the old factory mag I have, and now the follower wont stay in the mag body.

Basically, I can't drop or rack the slide with the mag in place.

I want to try some different brands, but 9mm are unfortunately much more rare than those for my .45.
