Replacing Front Night Sight on Beretta 92F

My Beretta 92 F needs its front sight replaced, the night sight is no longer bright. Unforntunately the front sight is fixed. I havent seen any night sight kits that just replace the glowing part. Do I need to take this to a gunsmith and if so about how much would it cost?

Your front sight is fixed but is a night sight? I haven't seen that before. It must be old too if its no longer glowing.

Send the slide to Trijicon, they will replace the insert.

For those that don't know, the front sight is part of the slide on the Beretta 92FS.....for night sights, the front post has to be machined to accept the tritium lamp. If the night sights aren't factory installed when you buy the pistol, Trijicon has you ship the slide their recommended specialty shop, Tooltech Gunsight for the machining of the front sight post to accept the lamp and the install of the replacement rear sight with the lamps in it. If your gun has the night sights on them already Trijicon will do replacement of the existing lamps for $55 or so for all three lamps.
