    FNH

Where can one buy FNH brand hand guns in CA? Or are they one more setup we are not allowed to have. I see dealers listed from their website but they state LEO sales only??

There are currently 11 FN handguns on the approved list.

    FN 5.7 U.S.G. (Matte Black) / Steel, Polymer Pistol 4.8" 5.7x28mm 4/12/2012
    FN HP-SA / Steel Pistol 4.66" 9mm 3/13/2012
    FN HP-SA / Steel Pistol 4.5" .40 S&W 3/13/2012
    FN HP-SA 40 (Polished Blue) / Steel Pistol 4.5" .40 S&W 11/19/2011
    FN HP-SFS 40 (Polished Blue) / Steel Pistol 4.6" .40 S&W 11/19/2011
    HP-SFS 40 (Matte Black) / Steel Pistol 4.6" .40 S&W 11/12/2011
    FNP-40 / Steel, Polymer Pistol 4" .40 S&W 12/8/2011
    FNP-40 Stainless / Steel, Polymer Pistol 4" .40 S&W 3/13/2012
    FNP-9 (Stainless Slide/Black Frame) / Steel, Polymer Pistol 4" 9mm 3/13/2012
    FNP-9 (Stnls. Matte Black) / Steel, Polymer Pistol 4" 9mm 11/12/2011

If the FN handgun you want is not on the list, then it must be obtain in another manner (LEO sale, PPT, out-of-state intra-familial gift, single-shot pistol).

Not really. Almost every gun store I've visited had one. Expensive yes.

I love mine. Easy to find. Wait until ones comes up on this Forum; usually the seller throws in several boxes of Ammo.

Most every shop i've been to has a 5.7 or FNP-40/9 in stock. The 45's and FNX's you can't readily find though.

As soon as the rouster is dead I'm buying an FNX-9. I love the options of cocked & locked, decocked with safety off, or decocked with safety on.

I've always been interested in the FiveSeven but don't like risking getting a gun that houses a caliber that might be difficult to find, what are your opinions on that? I know P90s use the same caliber so probably shouldn't be too concerned of it not being manufactured in the near future. Also, what are the average prices of 5.7x28mm; any place sell reloads of em?

We tested out an FNP-45 last weekend. Beautiful pistol, shoots nicely.
