    AR Pistols,

Hey all, I'm looking to buy some AR pistol gear, I need the usual things to include
1 upper (I have no clue what to get)
    1 lpk
    1 buffer kit,

I just need advice, or info to be pointed in the right direction...

I want to buy them new but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg,

(Also I don't. Have a regular AR so I won't have an issue with buying a pistol upper)
None of my posts are serious or real, nothing I post is legal advice.

K, but, do you have a pistol lower? That's what's really important here.

Look into EBR's AR pistol's w/returnable upper. Good place to start, especially if your gonna build up your own upper.

Is he actually doing this yet? I thought it was in the planning phase.

So, unless something has changed, I think what people are getting at is that unless you're planning on doing a PPT on a pistol lower, or are giving all your parts to a manufacturer to assemble you an AR pistol from their lower and your parts...Or an 80% build

You kinda have to buy a complete single shot pistol at DROS, not just a stripped lower.

You may already know this but since you weren't clear with you original post, it's, well, unclear.

              On to the recommendation:

1 upper (I have no clue what to get) LMT 10.5in? Pretty inexpensive yet quality.
1 lpk Just about any will do, I like DD kits myself.
1 buffer kit, Ace makes a nice one, perhaps GunSmoke Ent.?

My advice to you is DON'T take the cheap route, especially with AR Pistols. I'm not saying buy a $2K AR pistol but don't buy a dirt cheap upper and parts from a manufacturer without a good track record.

The unreliable AR pistols that I've come across on these forums and in person came from people that took the cheap route. You get what you pay for.

I got my ar pistol complete for 795 + dros and transfer. It shoots steel cased ammo flawlessly and it pretty accurate for what it is. Not one malfunction yet since I got it.

he can even do the single shot conversion for CA enthusiasts.

According to their thread, they have 2 guns for this with one spoken for in the 10day wait.

The AR pistol LPK is the same with AR Rifle LPK, so the sky's the limit. Just get a LPK from a well known manufacturer.
