I am coming into a 2.5" Colt Diamondback revolver early next month. While I'm excited to get such a nice handgun, I really would like a lightweight Colt Commander.
The bluing is excellent, but it has the usual cylinder turn ring. It locks up tight. It has a set of Hogue grips on it, but is supposed to come with the stock grips. But I haven't seen them, so I don't know if they really are the stock grips or what shape they're in.
I know that the 2.5" Diamondback is the more scarce model of the Diamondbacks. I've seen what they sell on Gunbroker for, but this is the real world. So, do you think it would be a fair trade to swap it for a lightweight Colt Commander? Assuming I can find someone to trade.
