    Cheap 9mm Ammo

    Sellier & Bellot FMJ 1,000 rounds $139.00

Brown Bear FMJ 1,440 rounds $199.95 is the case reloadable?

Wolf FMJ 1,000 rounds $149.97 another funky looking case

Wolf FMJ 1,000 rounds $159.97 This looks like the same ammo but a different price?

    Fiocchi FMC 1,000 rounds $176.97

    Fiocchi FMJ 1,000 rounds $187.97

    Winchester FMJ 1,000 $194.97

Thoughts? Anywhere else cheaper online or local (OC)?

    Thanks,
    E

The first one (Sellier & Bellot) on your list is a copper plated steel case. The Aguila from AIM is good though.

You can go to Walmart and get WWB for around $16 for 100 rds and that brass is reloadable.

not reloadable: somtimes s&b, wolf, bear.
            the others are.
9mm is not really worth reloading unless you have a progressive press or you are into reloading.

of those deals mentioned, the big one is from AIM. S&B is a czech (another plus) company that has made excellent ammo for me for over ten years. be aware that ammo is loaded hot and that they often have steel jackets, which means that you cant shoot them in CA ranges right now.

on top of that is the high $ of shipping to CA from aim, about $35

so, i would say that the best deal is wolf 9mm at 150. it is copper jacket lead core, non magnetic and quite accurate for HD and plinking.

Hmm, nearest Walmart to me is Martinez and I don't believe they sell ammo anymore.

I've only been looking online so far. I have a Turner's and a Big 5 close to me but in the past they always seem a bit high. I get most of my ammo right now from online or Wal-Mart (bricks of 550 .22 @9.98). Time to take a trip to Wal-Mart..

                  Thanks Guys,

I'd say Wallyworld or Outdoormarksman.com. I personally don't like the WWB stuff, not too accurate. I'd spend a little more and get AE.

Had decent prices. $7 for CCI Blazers(50rds) or $8 for brass ones.(S&B, Independence)

                          Another one from Sportsman's Guide:

                          FIOCCHI 9 mm 115-Gr. FMC Ammo. 1000 Rds $149.97

                          Use coupon codes:

                          SG599 ($10 off merchandise orders over $99) exp. 11/15/07

Shipping would probably be $15.99. See shipping table:

due to the current fire regulations, magnetic ammuntion is prohibited. while the chance of a steel jacket sparking a fire is very remote, it does happen. a 19 year old marine at burro canyon about two months ago was shooting m855 and started a fire which quickly raced upwards. helicopters, fire teams, and water dropping ships were required. the kid was fined in excess of 300,000USD.
